Rotherham United’s Nicky Law was disappointed after losing to Luton in the FA Cup replay last night.

Speaking to MillersPlayer the ex Sheffield United player said, ‘Once they got their second goal they were on a high and we were always chasing the game.

‘It’s a team game and you defend as a team and attack as a team but at the minute we are conceding some really sloppy goals.

‘I thought we had a couple of chances in the first five minutes and then we conceded two quick goals and then they got the third in the second half and that killed the game.

‘We would have played Southampton in the next round and we all want to play in that sort of game but it’s all over now and we have to concentrate on the league and keeping out top three spot.

‘The pitch got worse and worse as the night went on and it was tough especially on your muscles the twisting and turning but we`ll deal with it all in training and there will be no excuses on Saturday against Bradford over energy and fitness levels.’

Nicky was asked which position he preferred to play in and he answered, ‘I can play on the right, on the left or centre and there isn`t really a favourite position for me, though I do prefer the centre. The gaffer wants me to play where he thinks is best game by game and I`ll play wherever he puts me.’
