Rotherham United dropped two points at Don Valley yesterday against Morecambe but also came out of the game with injuries to two key players.

Both Nicky Law and Ian Sharps were replaced at half-time and caretaker manager, Steve Thornber told the Official Site why.

‘Nicky had a painkilling injection because he stubbed his toe before the game but we had to change him at half-time. Ian felt his hamstring so that was a problem and we had to bring him off.

‘Both were a big loss today and we will have to look at them mid-week.’

The good news was that Nick Fenton, who played for the Reserves mid-week after being out with an injury, came on and looked fit.
