Rotherham United are going to be without defender Nicky Hunt for at least four weeks after he went off on Saturday in the game with Hearts with a hamstring problem.
Speaking to MillersPlayer Millers Boss, Steve Evans said, ‘Nicky has a fifty per cent tear in a hamstring muscle so that’s not good news.
‘He’s sat on the sidelines with Dale Tonge who we don’t know if he’s going to be out for three days or three weeks. He sees the specialist again this week.
‘We’ve still got options at the back and Mark Bradley doesn’t look out of place there. He can play everywhere which is credit to him.’
I think losing Nicky Hunt for the start of the season will be a real blow for us. He’s been so solid at the back and makes his presence felt. Let’s hope the injury doesn’t keep him out too long.
