Rotherham United midfielder, Mark Hudson, is out of contract this summer and he has told the Yorkshire Post that he would still like to be a Miller next season.

The twenty-eight year old said, ‘I would definitely like to be still part of the set-up here when the next season starts. Hopefully the club will open contract talks with me.’

Hudson joined the Millers in the summer of 2007 from Huddersfield Town and played thirty games last season scoring nine goals.

Speaking about this season, where he has scored three goals in twenty-three league starts, Hudson carried on, ‘It’s a shame that the loss of those seventeen points means we are where we are. But, we’ve got to remain optimistic, keep plugging away and try and finish as high up the table as we can.’
