The Millers entertain Morecambe at Don Valley tomorrow evening
There haven’t been many games between the Millers and the Shrimps as Morecambe have only been in the league since the 2007/08 season, after they beat Exeter City 2-1 at Wembley in the Conference Play-Off Final.
Before they were promoted to the league, the Shrimps did take some ‘big’ scalps in the FA Cup, including Cambridge, Chesterfield and our very own Rotherham United.
Our game at Christie Park earlier this season ended in a 3-1 win for the Millers. Mark Lynch and Ryan Taylor scored before half-time with Neil Wainwright pulling one back for the Shrimps with ten minutes to go and Mark Lynch getting his second and the Millers third on the stroke of full-time.
