A few facts and figures about the games between the Millers and the Daggers

Rotherham United make their first ever trip to the New Wembley on Sunday for the League Two Play-Off Final and have the upper hand over their rivals, Dagenham and Redbridge, having never lost against them.

The two league games this season have ended in Millers wins. The first at Don Valley in February when two goals from Adam Le Fondre, one a penalty, in the first half gave Rotherham the win. The game at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Stadium in March was also won with a Le Fondre goal on sixty-one minutes.

Last season both league games ended in one-all draws. At Dagenham, Paul Benson put the home side in the lead on fifty minutes and Mark Burchill equalised thirty-four minutes later. At Don Valley it looked like the Daggers were going to get a rare win against the Millers when Matt Ritchie scored just after half-time with little response from the Millers. But in the final minute of the game up popped Ian Sharps to get the equalising goal.

The first game between the two teams was in October 2007 when the Millers game at Dagenham was won by two goals from Danny Harrison. Harrison scored in the return game at Millmoor after Mark Hudson had put the Millers one-up in the opening minutes from the penalty spot. Ben Strevens got a consolation for the Daggers that day.
