A bit of info on our opponents on Saturday

Rotherham United make their first league visit to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday to take on new boys in League Two, Burton Albion.

Burton came up from the Blue Square Premier League as Champions last season – at one time they were nineteen points in front of the rest of the pack, though, on the final day they actually won the league by just two points. Last season, Albion set a league record for the most consecutive wins in a row.

The Brewers moved to their home, the Pirelli Stadium, in 2005 and perhaps their most notable result at the Stadium was the 0-0 draw in the FA Cup third round against Manchester United in January the following year.

Amongst the famous names to have played for Burton are former Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and England striker, Ian Storey-Moore, Nigel Clough (who also managed the Brewers), Steve Cotterill and a certain Mark Robins.

The game at Don Valley, earlier this season, ended two-two. The Millers looked like they were going to win the game when Adam Le Fondre scored two goals – the first from the penalty spot in the thirty-ninth minute and the second on sixty-three minutes. But two minutes after the second went in the Millers seemed to switch off and Aaron Webster pulled one back for the visitors before Greg Pearson equalised five minutes from time, which was fifteen minutes after Nick Fenton got a second yellow card.
