Rotherham United take on Accrington Stanley at the Frazer Eagle Stadium on Saturday
The Millers go into this game in third place in the league with just one loss away from Don Valley, at Shrewsbury while Stanley haven’t lost at home and are in ninth place on fifteen points.
This fixture last season was played in March when Michael Symes put the home side into the lead on the eighteenth minute. Josh Walker equalised for the Millers ten minutes into the second half only for Jimmy Ryan to give Stanley all three points ten minutes from full-time.
The first time the teams met was way back in 1924 (and no, I don’t quite remember it!) when they were both in Division Three North. Accrington won three-two at their ground and the Millers won two-nil at Millmoor.
