RUFC – Friday Lunchtime Rumour

As I was eating my fish and chips an hour or so ago I got the message to say that Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lewis Price was interesting Rotherham United.

The Millers number one shot stopper is Lee Camp but apart from him and the young lad with little experience Rotherham took a trialist with them on the Poland Tour.

Thirty-one year old Lewis began his career with Ipswich Town before moving on to Derby County and Crysal Palace.

January 2015 saw Palace release the ‘keeper after just a handful of games and he ended the season he rejoined Crawley Town, where he had been on loan, until the end of the season.

Last summer Lewis joined the Owls on a years contract and although not making many appearances it was thought that he would be signing another deal with the Hillsborough club.

Well I think we could certainly do with a ‘keeper but will Price want to be second in line for the gloves?
