Rotherham United defender, Nick Fenton said he thought the Millers dominated the game at Vale Park on Easter Monday.

‘I was disappointed not to get all three points,’ he told MillersWorld, ‘but at the end of the day it was a point away from home. But, I do think we dominated the game and should have won. Port Vale had a few half chances but I think if we’d nicked a goal we would have gone on to score two or three. We kept another clean sheet which, as a defender, is pleasing.

‘We’ve played a lot of games and we are feeling very tired. But you always are when you play a Saturday/Monday game but, although we looked a bit leggy, we were unlucky not to win. Ian Sharps and I have played fifty-two games this season and we have a good relationship.

‘Our aim is to finish, without the points deduction, in the top three and to show that we are one of the better teams in this division. That will give us a platform for next year and make it an appealing club to come to. We have four more games to play and hopefully that will mean four more clean sheets and four more wins to finish the season well. Then, we can kick on next year and get promoted.’
