Rotherham United lost one of their most influencial players back in February when midfielder, Stephen Brogan was carried off after a collision against MK Dons.

It was discovered that he had a double fracture to his leg but good news this week is that he is now off his crutches.

Speaking to the Official Site, the twenty year old said, ‘I was glad to come off the crutches four days ago but I’m more limping that walking at the moment. In a few weeks I should be a bit more comfortable. I’ve no specific date set for my comeback but it should be round about December. If I can get back anytime before that then it will be a bonus.’

After being forced to sit and watch instead of playing he said, ‘I hate watching football. But, now the team are winning again it’s not so bad. It’s good for me to show my face at the games and stay part of the team.

‘I thought the lads played well on Saturday, especially the first half when we passed the ball nicely. And, it was great to see some smiling faces round the ground again.’
