Rotherham United striker, Adam Le Fondre might well be a wanted man but the Millers won’t let him go for less than £3m.

With the transfer deadline looming – 6pm this evening – Alfie’s agent, Jesse Learoyd-Hill, who once told the FA that there were some agents who were like the ‘mafia’, told the Yorkshire Post that it looked like the striker would still be a Miller tomorrow.

‘I’d be surprised if anything happened,’ Mr Learoyd-Hill said, ‘And, it if doesn’t, then Adam will be looking to sign a new deal. It will be in the best interests of both parties to sit down and talk because Adam has done very well for the club.’

Millers Chairman, Tony Stewart said last night that they had, very quickly, turned down an offer of money plus Rory Fallon from Plymouth for Le Fondre saying, ‘Unless someone comes in with something ridiculous we are not interested in selling Adam Le Fondre. The offer from Plymouth was rejected in seconds.

‘But, if someone comes in with a serious offer then we will look at it, look at the club and make a decision.’
