Rotherham United gave trialists Kieran Agard a run out today in their friendly game at the New York Stadium against South Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers.

The twenty-two year old forward spent his early youth career with Arsenal before moving to Everton in 2005, playing for their Uner-18 and reserve sides. His only full time appearance for the Toffees was in a League Cup game against Hull City. Having had loan spells with Peterborough and Kilmarnock Kieran became the first twansfer after the Yeovil management became aware of him by their fans suggesting his name on the social networking site Twitter. He signed a year`s contract in June last year and made thirty-four appearances for them scoring six goals before being released at the end of last season.

Kieran was brought on for the final fifteen minutes this evening and scoring the winner in the two-one win won`t do him any harm at all I wouldn`t have thought!
