Today’s Sheffield Star reports that Rotherham United chairman, Denis Coleman is very upbeat about the clubs financial future.
Following the £1 million departure of Will Hoskins and Lee Williamson to Watford on Friday, Coleman said that the club is financially secure for the next 16 months.

The duo’s departure was a major blow to Manager Alan Knill’s plans but Coleman stressed that there shouldn’t be a repeat of the Millers recent cash problems.

‘We’ve tried out best to keep the lads at Millmoor but it wasn’t to be,’ Coleman said.
‘The deal will see our club financially secure until the end of the 2007-08 season and hopefully we can now move forward.’
