Red Card Appeal Fails

Rotherham United defender Angus MacDonald has failed in trying to get his red card against Shrewsbury Town rescinded.

The twenty-nine year old was red carded on thirty-eight minutes for what was classed as violent conduct – leading with his arm – and was upheld by the independent Regulatory Commission.

Angus now has a three match ban, although this does not include the Papa John’s Trophy Final.
