Player Loyalty?..

In todays game players pass from one club to another like kids pass sweets to one another, but with one big difference Big Money.
If you look in the premiership today you will find a multitude of top class players earning many thousands of pounds a week which makes some of them millionaires and sometimes rightly so.
But my question is, do they actually feel any sense of loyalty to the club they play for or as a friend of mine is always telling me they are just employees who feel they are just doing a job and so feel no obligation to stay if things get hard.
I by no means feel this is restricted to the top flight as it goes on throughout the entire football league even I suppose down to grass roots including my home town club Mexborough Town FC.
I don`t want you to think that this is bad for the game as I feel is a natural state of affairs for players to move around just like you and I would in our worlds. If you stay in one place all the time then I am sure you will at some time get bored and if an offer came to move then you would probably take it.
Then there is the other side of the coin where players stay with there clubs for most of there career and are happy to do this, is this loyalty or could it be construed as just laziness ?
Good examples of this is Steve Bull who spent thirteen years at Wolverhampton Wanderers playing four hundred and seventy four games for them and then there is our own Paul Hurst who has spent over ten years at the club playing over four hundred games.
This brings me onto the current playing squad at Rotherham United and in particular the players Will Hoskins and Lee Williamson. There are many rumours going around about these players at the minute with numerous clubs being mooted for these two to move on to in the January transfer window. Also numerous sums of money has also been mentioned from a hundred thousand pounds to one million being mentioned.
So my question is, would you begrudge these players there chance of maybe bettering them selves or do you think they should show some loyalty ?
