Millers central defender Colin Murdock will leave Millmoor at the end of the season after struggling all season through injury.
The Ballymena born former Manchester United apprentice has played in just 6 games for the club all season, plus he has lost his International place after winning 31 full caps for Nothern Ireland.
He signed for Rotherham on a free transfer from Crewe in July 2005 and played in 39 of last seasons League matches, scoring twice.
Unfortunately he has had this season thwarted by an hernia problem and hasn’t played a full game for The Millers since breaking down during our FA Cup defeat at Peterborough last November.
Manager Mark Robins said, ‘We will not be offering Colin a new contract.
We are trying to cut according to the cloth and we’re looking around for other players’
We at Vital would like to wish Colin all the very best for the future.
