Let’s Look At Those Stats – Millers v QPR

|

A second away defeat in three days leaves Rotherham United with twelve points from thirty-nine and yet both these games have seen them lose by just the odd goal.

Tonight the Millers had forty-seven per cent of the possession, which, personally, I don’t think is bad going for an away side. We had thirteen shots at goal of which five were on target where Rangers also had five shots on target from fourteen shots.

Rotherham had four corners and the hosts had five while our passing accuracy in our opponents half comes out at fifty-two per cent with the R’s having sixty per cent.

Defensively our tackle success was sixty-five per cent with tackles being twenty to us and thirteen to the hosts. Fouls conceded go to the Millers – nineteen to nine with Rotherham also winning on yellow cards, three-nil.

Silly mistakes again saw us give goals away yet, at the other end, Angus MacDonald put his body on the line more than once and we fought at the end to get an equaliser – some might say it’s a pity we didn’t fight from the start.
