Colin Murdock

Rotherham United captain, Colin Murdock, today told the Official Site that he hopes to be back training on Monday. (www.themillers.co.uk)

The Northern Ireland International was injured in the Millers 2-0 defeat at Cheltenham at the beginning of December. He said ‘the injury isn`t too bad. I have been in the gym every day and it has been steadily improving.

‘You have to be philosophical about the injury; there is nothing I can do about it. You just have to get on with it and do what the physio tells you.

‘I don`t want to be injured; I want to play. Hopefully I can come back to full fitness and touch wood that will remain the case.`
