ROTHERHAM United are stepping up their bid to strengthen the frontline after the recent departures.
Manager Alan Knill has lost 2 strikers recently, and are currently awaiting to hear about an enquiry made for an undisclosed player from a Championship side.
‘We have made calls to clubs and are waiting for replies,’ said the Millers boss. ‘I think we need two strikers.’
Rotherham United lost 16 goal Will Hoskins to Premiership side Watford last week, and fellow forward Dave Hibbert joined Bradford City after his Millers loan spell from Preston ended at the start of the month.
Following yesterday’s meeting between Knill and the Millers board to discuss monies available for new signings, follow-up talks will take place today where finances and transfer planning were set to be considered.
