Winger To Leave In January?

|

Rotherham United could be without winger Jake Hastie after this month with his parent club, Rangers, worried about the game time he is getting with the Millers.

The twenty year old arrived at the New York Stadium in September just four months after the Scottish side said they had a pre-contract agreement with him and his then club Motherwell.

Jake made two appearances for Rangers in July and August in the Europa League and Scottish League Cup and has made fourteen appearances for Rotherham scoring in his first three.

This news must be a blow to Millers Boss Paul Warne although the Daily Record indicates that he might be expecting it.

With injuries and the like the Millers are struggling to get a settled team at the moment and although Hastie had a bit of a dodgy start on Saturday in the two-all draw away at Southend he grew into the game and looks to me, an untrained eye I admit, as though he is a good player in the making.
