Rotherham United loan player, Che Wilson, was a junior at Norwich City when Mark Robins was a striker there knocking the goals in, and he told The Advertiser that he looked up to him then and likes what he has seen as him as a manager.

‘He’s new to the job,’ twenty-eight year old Wilson said, ‘and I think he’s doing a good job. But, playing under Sir Alex Fergusson he’s had the right schooling.

‘The proof is in the results and next season it will be more his own team and he will be able to bring in the players he wants.

‘He brought me here so I could get some games under my belt which has been great for me.’

Wilson is unsure where his future lies, though it is expected if a contract comes from Southend he will go back there, but he says, ‘I expect Rotherham to give a good account of themselves next season and I will certainly be keeping an eye out for their results.’
