Will There Be Any Changes For The Millers Or Leeds Today?

|

Rotherham United make the short journey into West Yorkshire on Saturday to take on Leeds United at Elland Road.

Sitting pretty in second place, Leeds have won both their league games this season scoring seven goals in the process while the Millers are nicely placed in mid-table with three points.

Both teams won their Carabao Cup games in midweek, Rotherham beating Wigan Athletic three-one and Leeds getting a two-one win over Bolton Wanderers.

It might still be a little early for Jamie Proctor to get a start but never say never. Although Paul Warne has mentioned ‘starting with three up front’ I’d be surprised if he actually did that this afternoon and I think we could start with Michael Smith and have Kyle Vassell just behind him. New loanee midfielder Ryan Manning, who joined on Thursday from QPR, has played for Rangers so could well get a start although Semi Ajayi did OK in midfield on Tuesday against Wigan in the Cup so he could be slotted in there. Definitely out are long term injured Darren Potter and Michael Ihiekwe who is ill.

Leeds Manager Marcelo Bielsa, (and his interpreter – now I’m sure Mr Bielsa will eventually get there, If he’s at Elland Road that long, though, of course he could end up with an Argentinian/Yorkshire accent), has hinted that Leeds will keep the same starting line-up that beat Derby at Pride Park. Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw are both still out injured.

Robert Jones from Merseyside is in the middle for the game.

Leeds United have announced that the game is ALL TICKET and there will be no tickets on sale for Millers supporters at Elland Road. So, if you haven’t already got your ticket for today don’t go.
