What The Stats Say – Millers v Pirates

Rotherham United scored three goals without response yesterday afternoon at the New York Stadium and deserved the three points against Bristol Rovers.

But what do this weeks stats tell us?

Well the first thing they tell us is that the Millers had fifty-nine per cent of the possession and won the majority of the duels while having eight corners to Rovers’ five.

Our passing accuracy in our opponents half comes out at fifty-nine per cent although the Pirates crossing accuracy was a little better than ours at thirty-eight per cent to thirty-two.

Rotherham had sixteen shots at goal of which four were on target with Rovers having two on target out of seven shots.

Rovers conceded nineteen fouls to our fifteen with Rotherham being given one yellow card to Bristol Rovers’ two.

What is impressive this week is that the stats say our tackles success rate was one hundred per cent – well you can’t get much better than that, can you!
