Rotherham United played out a goalless draw this evening with Bristol City but it was by no means a ‘boring goalless draw’.
It was a good game with both sides having chances.
But who played well for the Millers?
Well, we were without a number of ‘first team regulars’ and down to six substitutes at 7pm. By 7.20pm we were another first team regular down, with Richard Wood breaking down in the warm-up, and down to five on the bench.
So despite having to move things around at the last minute, as I said, the lads did good. Everyone of them ran their hearts out tonight. Everyone of them looked exhausted at the end of the game.
The Match Sponsors at the New York Stadium gave the Man of the Match to Ryan Williams and I don’t think I could disagree.
