What Do The Stats Tell Us

Rotherham United got their third away point out of three yesterday at Ewood Park against Blackburn Rovers and, if we are being honest, it could have been more and it could have been less.

For the first time this season the Millers led in an away game with fifteen minutes to go but after many attempts Rovers finally got past Marek Rodak in Rotherham’s goal on the eighty-first minute to get a share of the spoils.

Paul Warne has praised his battling Millers after the one-all draw and says it is definitely a point gained.

Tony Mowbray was ‘frustrated’.

The travelling six hundred and eighty went away happy.

Yes, Rovers had more possession, had more shots on target but still only scored once. But I think the way the Millers came out for the start of the game had the hosts a little worried. Then the backs-to-the-wall attitude in the second half had them frustrated.

As a travelling Miller I was happy with the performance – was you?
