Rotherham United and Millwall fight out the Battle at the bottom.

Vital Quotes:

Rotherham boss Alan Knill urged fans not to place too much emphasis on the match.
Speaking in Fridays Advertiser he said, ‘People might call this the match of the season so far, but i dont go along with that view.’
‘This is a nine month season, not a one-game season.’

Former Manchester City assistant boss Donachie was placed in caretaker charge at Millwall following Nigel Spackman’s departure earlier this week.

Donachie helped Millwall to a 1-1 draw against Brentford on Tuesday night and he admits he would like to stay in charge full-time.

‘I have told the board and the chairman that I want the job,’ said Donachie. ‘I believe that I can do it and it is now in their hands.

‘This is a results business and as long as I keep picking up points then I`m sure that I will be in with a chance of being given the job on a full-time basis. It is a big job, but I’m up to it.

‘It has been difficult for the players after Nigel left but I was pleased with their attitude and the performance.’ (Sky Sports)

Rotherham United Team News:

Millers central defender Colin Murdock came through a midweek reserve game unscathed, as part of his comeback from a groin injury.

Player to watch: Will Hoskins

Millwall Team News:

Millwall outgoing boss Nigel Spackman brought in 19 new players in the summer clear out, but in his first team selection, caretaker boss Willie Donachie re-dressed the situation by fielding 6 home grown players in the midweek draw against Brentford.
Former Millers star Darren Byfield, who once scored four goals for Rotherham in a opening day league game at Millwall, could be named as a substitute on Saturday.
Byfield played and scored in the Lions first game of the season at home to Yeovil, but has been out ever since.

Player to watch: Marvin Williams

In a disappointing season so far for the Lions, few players have shone , but London born pacy winger Marvin Williams in only his second full season has been the best of a bad bunch.
Captain Paul Robinson, a solid defender has also been one of Millwalls better performers.
