Warne Linked With City Job

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne is, we are told, on Hull City’s wanted list to take over the vacant seat at the KCOM Stadium.

Warne has been in management since November 2016 firstly as caretaker manager before being appointed on a permanent deal in April 2017. The following December saw him win the EFL League One Manager Of The Month award.

After eighteen months at the helm Nigel Adkins told Hull City yesterday that he and his assistant Andy Crosby would be leaving at the end of the month saying that the future of the club and his future were ‘not aligned.’

The HITC says Warne, who is highly-regarded within coaching circles is one of a ‘host of names’ being linked with the job.

This isn’t the first time the Millers Boss has had clubs show interest in him with April seeing his name linked with London side Queens Park Rangers.

Sadly, Paul Warne’s father passed away yesterday afternoon and all our thoughts are with him and his family at this sad time.
