Rotherham United have brought in defender Zak Vyner on loan, until 5th May, from Bristol City – subject to FA and EFL ratification.

Born in London the twenty-one year old came through the Youth ranks at Ashton Gate making his Championship debut in February 2016. Zak went on to play another seven times for the Robins while also having loan spells with Accrington Stanley and Plymouth Argyle.

Last season Zak made twenty-two league appearances, mostly for the Pilgrims, his only goal coming away at Shrewsbury in February while he also played in our game at Home Park against Plymouth.

Zak signed a new deal with Bristol City at the end of last week which ties him to the Robins until the summer of 2021.

This takes Paul Warne’s summer signings up to three with defender Clark Robertson and striker Kyle Vassell signing in on Friday.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome the young defender to the New York Stadium.
