Vital Rotherham’s Man Of The Month For December 2024

Rotherham United had six games throughout December and here at Vital Rotherham we had six different Man of the Match awards!

So then we go to the player who got the most votes and so our Man of the Match for December goes to SEAN RAGGETT who got the vote for the first game of the month at home to Lincoln City.

Thirty year old centre-back Sean is in his second spell with the Millers, the first being a loan the 2018/19 season, signing a two year deal in May last year. Injury has meant that he has only managed a handful of games so far this season his last one being at home to the Imps where he scored the winning goal.

Our Vertu Trophy game saw the vote go to ZAK JULES who scored the second goal in our three-two win at home to Tranmere Rovers and the following weekend we ran out three-nil winners against Northampton Town, again at home, when ANDRE GREEN making his first League start got the third goal and our Man of the Match award.

JOE POWELL got the vote in our away loss at Mansfield while another loss, this time on Boxing Day at home to Wigan Athletic, saw goalkeeper DILLON PHILLIPS get most votes. Our last game of the month was a one-all home draw with Stockport County when you voted goalscorer HAKEEM ODOFFIN the Man of the Match.
