Rotherham United played six games throughout April and one game in March to finish the 2018/19 season in the Championship.

Of those seven games the Millers won one (at home to Nottingham Forest), drew one (away at Stoke) and lost five.

But who did you, the fans, vote Vital Rotherham’s Man of the Month (plus one!)? Well, that accolade went to Matt Crooks who was voted Man of the Match in our games away at Swansea City and at home to Birmingham City. He was also joint Man of the Match in the draw at Stoke alongside skipper Will Vaulks, while Vaulks, Crooks and Clark Robertson drew for the award away at West Bromwich Albion.

Against the Potters Crooks came off the bench and scored the first of his three goals of the month while he started and scored away at Swansea and opened the scoring in our three-one home loss to Birmingham City.

Matt joined the Millers in January from Northampton signing a three and a half year deal and has made sixteen appearances, the majority off the bench but has fast become a Millers favourite with his movement on and off the ball plus his tackling.

Well Done Matt!

In our home win against Forest Michael Smith was voted Man of the Match with winger Jon Taylor getting the votes at home to Aston Villa. Our last game of the season when Middlesbrough were at the New York Stadium saw Ben Wiles get the award.

Well Done All!

Thanks to everyone who took the time out to vote!
