Vas Called Up By Ireland

|

Rotherham United have had another player called up to join his country during next weeks International break.

Millers striker Kyle Vassell has got his first international call-up for Northern Ireland, although he was capped at age-group level for them.

Twenty-six year old Vas signed a three year deal with the Millers in the summer joining from Blackpool and has gone on to make twelve appearances which have impressed the Northern Ireland scouts enough to include him in their squads for the UEFA Nations League games against Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vassell joins Semi Ajayi, who could get his second cap for Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations games against Libya while is hoping for a first cap Richie Towell after being called up by the Republic of Ireland. Also getting a call up in goalkeeper Marek Rodak for his native Slovakia.

Good Luck Lads from all at Vital Rotherham!
