Rotherham manager Alan Knill has signed a new two-year contract to remain in charge at Millmoor.

Knill stepped up from his role as first-team coach to become caretaker boss when former manager Mick Harford left the club in December.

He was then handed the permanent job a few weeks later.

Knill has been given the new deal even they though they could be relegated at the weekend and will have 10 points deducted at the start of next season.

Vital Rotherham wishes him all the best.
