Rotherham United’s first foray into this seasons Bristol Street Motors Trophy sees Mansfield Town the visitors to the New York Stadium and Scott Jackson is the referee.
After coming through the non-league pyramid with the likes of the Plymouth Saturday League, the South West Peninsula League, Western League, Southern League and National League North and South former Naval Petty Officer Scott was promoted to the National League in the summer of 2019. He spent four years in the National League his first League game coming in April 2023 at Harrogate when AFC Wimbledon were the visitors and earned a two-all draw. The following season he was in the middle for League Cup, FA Cup, the Football League Trophy plus League One and Two games.
This season Scott has had the whistle for two game which were firstly in the Carabao Cup when he showed three yellow cards and in a Conference game at the weekend again showing three yellow cards.
Running the line on Tuesday night are Callum Gough and Ravel Cheosiaua and the Fourth Official is Bradley Hall.
