Today’s Tuesday, today’s Tuesday, Tuesday is – well according to The Scaffold, back in the day, Tuesday is soup. Is everybody happy? Well, those of us who support League One sides aren’t really are we? We’d like Tuesday to be ‘decision day’.

The Premier League players are back in training today, I’m expecting the Championship to follow suit very soon and League Two have taken the decision to finish the season as the table stands. But, in League One we are still playing the waiting game.

We were, more or less, promised a decision last week, then another sort-of promise for a decision yesterday. It didn’t happen and we are still no further forward in what we will be doing with the 2019/20 season.

As a Miller and in second place in the table it’s a bit awkward to join in with what should happen. Obviously, if it went to a vote we’d all vote for the top two – or possibly three – to be promoted. Just as obviously those clubs below us will want the season to re-start.

BristolLive says that today all the clubs are going to vote what to do. But, is that right? Ultimately shouldn’t it be the ‘bosses’ who make the decision? And aren’t those bosses the EFL?

Will we get a decision today? Or will we still be sat this time tomorrow twiddling our thumbs waiting for an answer?
