Rotherham United and defender Curtis Tilt have parted company.

Curtis was recalled from Wigan, where he has been on loan, and after many negotiations the defender has now returned to the DW Stadium signing a permanent eighteen month deal.

The thirty year old played just sixty minutes in a Rotherham shirt since joining in January 2020 from Blackpool, which was in the three-one loss away at Rochdale in the March in League One. Since then Covid, injury and going out on loan have kept him out of the Millers squad.

In October Curtis joined Wigan Athletic on loan playing thirty-five times plus a couple of friendly international games for Jamaica. The end of August last year saw him re-join Wigan scoring two league One goals in eight league appearances.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Curtis well for his future.
