Rotherham United and Christ Tiehi have parted company the defensive midfielder joining the Hungarian NB I side Diosgyori VTK for an undisclosed fee – subject to FA and EFL ratification and international clearance.
Paris born Christ moved to the New York Stadium in August 2023 from Czech First League side Slovan Liberec for what was then a club-record signing making his debut away at Sunderland a few days later. Christ scored his first goal for the Millers in our home draw against Ipswich three months later, his last game in our three-nil home victory over Northampton Town in mid-December.
Christ has made fifty-seven appearances for Rotherham scoring twice.
