The Stats – Millers v Wycombe

Rotherham United earned a point in a, frankly, drab game at Adams Park yesterday afternoon which saw the Millers v Wycombe end goalless.

But what do the stats say?

Wycombe came out better in the possession stakes having fifty-four per cent and the aerial duels won saw Rotherham come out with just thirty-eight per cent.

Both sides had two corner each with the Millers passing accuracy in the opponents half being forty-eight per cent, Wycombe had fifty-four per cent. Rotherham won a hundred per cent of their tackles with the Chairboys giving away ten fouls and the Millers twelve. There were three yellow cards of which two went the visitors way.

Attack wise both sides had twelve shots at goal, ten of those for the Millers from inside the box, with Rotherham having four on target and the hosts just one.

Chances in the game were few and far between with neither team really deserving to win or, for that matter, lose. And it wasn’t really a game of ‘if only’s’. So a point each was probably the best result. And, to be honest, I don’t think that’s a bad result for us at this stage of the season – and it’s another clean sheet.
