Tayls Turns Down Black Cats

|

Rotherham winger Jon Taylor has turned down a move to League One rivals Sunderland.

There is no doubt that Tayls wants to leave the Millers with the Northern Echo saying that the twenty-six year old wants to stay in the Championship with it seeming that neighbours Barnsley and Luton Town, both who were promoted at the end of last season, are also after the winger.

Taylor joined the Millers in August 2016 with what was reported to be a club record and played one hundred and nineteen times including the 2018 League One Play-Off Final at Wembley. Forty-four of those appearances were last season when he found the net four times, though it is thought that he isn’t keen on the rotation system that Millers Manager, Paul Warne, used.

Me, personally, I’m happy that he’s not off to Sunderland, simply because I don’t like the idea of losing a player to a club in the same division as the Millers.
