Taylor Signs For Rovers

|

Rotherham United winger Jon Taylor was one of several players to turn down an offered new deal at the end of last season and after being linked with the likes of Bolton Wanderers today has joined fellow League One neighbours Doncaster Rovers on a two year deal.

Jon joined the Millers from Peterborough United in August 2016 for what was thought to be a club record fee and has gone on to make one hundred and twenty-nine appearances scoring thirteen goals, four of those coming last season.

Born in Liverpool Jon spent his youth career with Wigan Athletic and Shrewsbury Town who he went on to play over one hundred and thirty first team games for joining the Posh in 2014 after the Shrews were relegated.

The Millers and the twenty-seven year old winger will be meeting up again in a couple of weeks when Rotherham travel to the Keepmoat.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Jon ‘All The Best’ for his future.
