Andy Scott is preparing to loan out some of the ‘fringe’ players at Rotherham next week.

The likes of Ben Pringle and Ollie Banks, according to The Star, will be sent out on loan to ‘keep their fitness levels up’ with Scott saying: ‘we have got a reserve game on Monday and we will make decisions after that whether we want people to go and get games or not.

‘We have got a good strong squad and we can’t afford people to be sitting around doing nothing.’

With few reserve fixtures being played The Millers manager knows the importance of using the loan window to the clubs advantage: ‘we haven’t got a great deal of reserve games so it is important people are staying match fit.’

Another that could be shipped out is summer signing Luke Foster.
