Scott Impressed How Millers Players Looked After

|

Rotherham United’s latest signing Scott High said his loan move to the Millers came about quickly.

‘I met with the manager and coaching staff and my agent yesterday,’ the twenty-one year old midfielder told iFollow, ‘and I really liked the way they were talking about what they want to do this season and it was a no-brainer for me to come here.’

Saying a big part of him coming to the New York Stadium, Scott said, ‘It was the aura around the club and the way they treat their players and look after all the staff. They are just good people. They made me feel wanted and hopefully I can give back to them now, help the team score a few goals and do my best for the club.

Scott has been to the training ground today and said he got a warm welcome and said, ‘It was really nice to see everyone and get on the training pitch with them.’

Asked what he could fetch to the Millers he said, ‘I hope the fans will see me as a box-to-box midfielder. I’ll try to add bits to my game like scoring goals, defending and hopefully I can create the whole package while I’m here.’

It seems the lad is fit and signed before the 12noon deadline so might we see Scott involved in the opening game of the season against Swansea tomorrow?
