Saturday’s Stats

Rotherham United came away with a point from the Madejski Stadium yesterday with a point after a Semi Ajayi goal earned the Millers a one-one draw with Reading.

It was a pretty even game with the hosts having more percentage of the play than Rotherham and the Millers having one more corner than the Royals.

Rotherham had thirteen shots at goal of which, the stats say, two were on target while Reading had five on target from fifteen shots. Shots inside the box were equal – nine each – with Reading having six outside the box to the Millers four.

Defensively there were eleven tackles for Reading of which they had a seventy-three per cent success rate while the Millers success rate from nineteen tackles was ten per cent less.

All in all, as I said, there doesn’t seem much between the teams which shows in where they are in the table – both have thirty points with the Royals one place above the Millers on goal difference – so come on you Millers score more goals!
