Sadlier ‘Delighted’ To Make His Debut

|

Rotherham United midfielder Kieran Sadlier told iFOLLOW that he thought the Millers were unlucky to go out off the Carabao Cup on Saturday.

Saying it was a tough one to lose the twenty-five year old said, ‘We controlled the game and there are positives to take from the game including the many chances we created.’

Kieran, who arrived at the New York Stadium in the summer from neighbours Doncaster Rovers, played the whole ninety minutes of his first competitive game on Saturday against Salford City saying that despite the result he was ‘delighted’ to have made his debut saying that he has ‘freedom to get on the ball’ and is looking forward to doing that more.

‘I’ve enjoyed learning new things over the last three or four weeks,’ Kieran said. ‘We’ve got a really good squad and I’m looking forward to working with them in the season ahead.’

It did seem that Kieran was all over the pitch on Saturday, taking set-pieces and, on social media people are saying he was the best player on the pitch for the Millers on Saturday – we just need him to start helping out with the scoring of goals now, which I’m sure will come.

Rotherham travel to take on Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday when it will be a 1230 kick-off.

It’s one thing creating loads of goal scoring chances but in the millers case it’s been a different story converting them into actual goals ,the championship finds you out and the millers have been found wanting in front of goal far too often to mention .

Can’t agree more Stewart. But I don’t really know what we can do about it. It’s been happening for that long I think it’s sort of looking the norm for us.
