Rotherham United are being linked with young Sheffield Wednesday striker George Hirst.

The rumours began yesterday on social media sites with Alan Biggs mentioning it on his Twitter account today.

The twenty year old is the son of former Owls player David Hirst and has come through the Youth ranks at Hillsborough.

It’s also rumoured that Premier League side Leicester City have had a couple of bids for the striker turned down by Wednesday.

IF he did come to the Millers it would probably be a loan move and would probably mean that Owls Manager Carlos Carvalhal sees George as ‘one for the future’.
