Rotherham United loanee, winger, Sam Wood has urged striker, Lewis Grabban to stay with the Millers.

Speaking to Sky Sports Wood, who is with the Millers from Brentford until the end of the season, said, ‘He has played at a higher level with Crystal Palace and Millwall but wasn’t really given a chance. And he did really well with Brentford when he was on loan there and I was surprised to see no League One clubs coming in for him in the summer.

‘With fifteen goals already this season he’s shown that he’s far too good for League Two although we are more than happy to have him here but he’s definitely good enough to play higher up.’

The Millers have rejected a (ridiculous) offer from Crawley Town this month for their top scorer but it is thought that both Sheffield clubs and Charlton have been watching him.
