Rotherham United defender Richard Wood has had his red card rescinded after the Millers appealed the decision.

The thirty-one year old was shown the red card on Saturday in time added on by Referee Tim Robinson in the derby game with Sheffield Wednesday.

With the ban being revoked it means Woody will be available for the Boxing Day home game against fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic.

Great news for the Millers – pity the penalty can’t be rescinded too.
