Rotherham United have made winger Alex Bray‘s loan move from Swansea City permanent subject to FA, EFL and Premier League ratification and international clearance.

Twenty-one year old Alex joined the Millers on an International loan in January but this deal, for an undisclosed fee, will see him at the New York Stadium until the summer of 2019.

Bray joined Swansea at the age of fifteen signing his first professional contract in June 2013. After a long injury he extended his contract twice making him a Swans player until this summer.

Since joining Rotherham Alex has played less than half-an-hour in two games both times off the bench.

Speaking to the Official Site, Alex says the move is a perfect opportunity for him.

‘The lads here are top lads,’ Alex said ‘and I’ve settled in nicely. The manager and staff have made me welcome and I’m really pleased to be joining.

‘I want to get stronger fitter and push on for a first team spot. I think next season is going to be a big one for me.’
