For the second game running, Rotherham will be under the charge of a Referee in his first full season on the Football League list.
David only spent 1 year on the list of Football League Assistant Referee’s before his promtion this summer.
During last season he took charge of 12 Conference games, showing yellow 24 times and keeping the red card firmly in his pocket.

His first ever Football League game in the middle came when he Referee’d Bury’s 1-0 win over Brentford at Gigg Lane on the opening day of this season.
He kept up his record of leniancy regarding handing cards out with no cautions.
This was David’s only appointment so far.
