Rotherham United striker Wes Thomas will be hoping to get a place in the starting eleven on Sunday which will be a bit different from his last experience there.

The twenty-seven year old was in the Dagenham and Redbridge squad that beat the Millers last time they were at the capital’s stadium but not only didn’t get to kick a ball he didn’t even make the squad.

‘Although it was nice to be part of the day it was frustrating,’ Wes told The Advertiser this week. ‘To play at Wembley is everyone’s dream and something you never forget and I want us to have a good ending.

‘The will to win here is frightening. We never know when we are beaten and I think that’s what’s made us so good. And we are going to need that again because Leyton Orient are a good side but just one more push will get us promotion.’

Wes joined the Millers in January, from Bournemouth, on a contract that would see him here until the end of the season and the striker says he will sit down after the season is over and see where it goes. Scoring six goals in thirteen games for Rotherham I can’t think that there won’t be an offer for Wes on the table – what do you think?
